MJF has just made a surprise gesture by breaking character and showing support for an up-and-coming female AEW star. He took to social media and made a subtle post, publicly putting her over.
Maya World has been the talk of the town as of late, as she is pulling off a Cinderella run in this year’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. She emerged as a surprise entrant, replacing the injured Sareee for the opening round of the tournament. She pulled off several upset victories, pinning the likes of Skye Blue and ROH Women’s World Champion Athena.
She has now reached the finals of the tournament and is set to take on Mercedes Moné at Forbidden Door. Several top names in the wrestling business have shown support for her, including MJF himself. He posted a picture of her AEW render on his recent Instagram Story. He did not need to add any caption, as posting her alone was a big enough gesture for a show of support.

A few days ago, Pete Dunne made an appearance at Attack Pro Wrestling as the Bruiserweight. This was a surprise, as it has been some time since he has been seen with this persona in WWE.
He is currently one-half of Los Americanos and is the man behind Raya Americano, as he and Tyler Bate are currently the stablemates of El Grande Americano in AAA. His last match as Pete Dunne was last year during an episode of Main Event.
MJF also took to his Instagram Story a few days ago and posted a picture of the former United Kingdom Champion following his brief appearance on the independent circuit.
Despite being very self-centered and narcissistic, it seems that the Salt of the Earth has this side to himself, where he remains a big fan of the business and the many stars in it. He is a student of the game, and this translates to his work in the ring and his reputation as one of the best in the world at his age.
