Shocking FTR Announcement: Cash Wheeler Responds

Former AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR consist of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. The duo is considered one of the greatest tag teams of the modern era. They entered Double or Nothing 2026 with the titles. However, they lost them to Adam Copeland and Christian Cage.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have been absent from All Elite Wrestling programming since Double or Nothing. Interestingly, a few hours back, Harwood announced on Instagram that he and his tag team partner have been working nonstop for more than a decade and have decided to take a break. They will spend time with themselves and their families, and they are unsure when they will return to professional wrestling. The former WWE star even shared a few pictures of himself and his family on vacation in Hawaii.

“For the first time in 12 years, we’ve decided to step away and take some time for ourselves & for our families. I’m not sure when we’ll be back, what we’re going to do, how much longer we have, or if we even need to prove anything at all anymore,” he wrote.

Wheeler responded to this post by asking Harwood to stay in Hawaii for another week because the former’s family is arriving there as well.

FTR’s Cash Wheeler regrets not getting the opportunity to work with WWE legend AJ Styles

In a recent interview with LNG Productions, Cash Wheeler said that he and Harwood never worked with AJ Styles. He regrets this, but he showered the Phenomenal star with praise.

“We never did anything with him (AJ Styles). The crazy thing is that we have been in the ring with Kurt Angel more than him. Because he was in the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi. But with AJ, never. My friend was obsessed with AJ Styles. He loved him. I have watched AJ for so long and he is just like Eddie Guerrero. You know everytime he steps in the ring, he is going to be better than everyone else,” said the FTR member.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for FTR. Hopefully, they will return to AEW in a few months.
