Charlotte Flair is unquestionably one of the best WWE female stars of all time. She has also contributed significantly to the evolution of women’s wrestling. The Queen’s new name has now been made official following SmackDown.

The last few weeks have been challenging for the Queen. She was on a quest to become the Queen of the Ring, but failed to fulfil her prophecy.

She clashed with Liv Morgan in the Queen of the Ring semi-finals on SmackDown last night. However, before she entered the ring, Jade Cargill, alongside B-Fab and Michin, attacked her backstage and injured her knee to the point that General Manager Nick Aldis didn’t want her to compete.

But Flair didn’t back down from a fight and wrestled the main event through injury. Morgan knew that Charlotte was dealing with a knee issue, and she kept targeting her injured knee.

The Miracle Kid punched her ticket to the QOTR finals by making The Queen tap out to a single-leg Boston Crab, adding more insult to injury.

Following her loss and being eliminated from the Queen of the Ring race, Flair took to her official X/Twitter account and gave herself a new WWE name.

” The people’s queen” she wrote.

You can check out her tweet below:

Despite the loss, the multi-time WWE women’s champion showcased warrior’s grit and earned fans’ respect.

Major update on Charlotte Flair’s WWE future

The Queen is now out of the Queen of the Ring tournament and has lost the chance of getting a title shot at SummerSlam 2026.

Recent reports suggest that she would still be part of a big match at the Biggest Party of the Summer.

Given what Jade Cargill has done to Flair, her receipt could be imminent.

According to a report by TRNBCKL, The Queen and The Storm are set to have a match at SummerSlam 2026.

The seeds of their potential match were planted on the blue brand.

Things could intensify between the two further as Flair would want to cost Cargill her Women’s United States Championship match against Tiffany Stratton at Night of Champions 2026.

With B-Fab and Michin having Jade Cargill’s back, fans could expect to see Alexa Bliss get involved in the storyline.
