AEW star Wardlow discussed his return on social media after being absent from the promotion for over 10 months. He was brought in as MJF’s henchman, but quickly became a massive star after leaving him. Despite being pushed to the moon from time to time, he never became the champion he deserved to be. One of the main reasons this happened is because of injuries. Over the years, he sustained multiple injuries that kept him away from the spotlight.

In 2023, the former TNT Champion injured his knee and was absent from the Jacksonville-based promotion until August 2025. He returned to the company as a Don Callis Family member and was presented as a great deal. Unfortunately, his comeback didn’t last long as he tore his pectoral muscle within a week. Despite being absent, he was making headlines. During his absence, he participated in the American Gladiators show. Fans are patiently waiting for him to make his return.

Recently, a fan uploaded a post on Instagram about how much he misses Wardlow. The individual also uploaded an album of Mr Mayhem’s pictures. The former TNT Champion posted on his story and wrote that he is also excited to make his return to AEW.

“Can’t wait either brother,” he wrote.

AEW star MJF talks about his feud with Wardlow

After Mr Mayhem left Maxwell’s alliance, the duo faced each other in a series of matches. The matches were storied and brutal.

While speaking on Shut Up and Wrestle, MJF said his back still aches because of the powerbombs Wardlow delivered a few years ago.

“I was trying to win Brian, and I’m not happy about it. My back still hurts from those Powerbombs. He sure did hit a lot of f**king Powerbombs that night, a**hole. Horrible guy, horrible guy, an opportunist, and you know, I was paying him very well and the word that comes to mind is ungrateful, Brian,” he said.

It will be interesting to see when the former TNT Champion will return to the promotion.
