Cody Rhodes is open to facing any challenger in WWE
Cody Rhodes has boldly claimed that he is open to facing any challenger in the WWE. The American Nightmare even put his long-term rival and the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns, on notice.
Speaking at the Clash in Italy post-show, Rhodes put Gunther on notice and claimed he could have a rematch whenever he wanted. The Undisputed WWE Champion concluded by putting The OTC on notice.
“I think it’s a unique position to be in for me to say something negative or for him to say something negative about me and it’s for the simple fact that he doesn’t have two wins over me. I don’t have two wins over him. He beat me once, and I beat his a** once. So I don’t know. Add him to the list cause we said Gunther can have a rematch whenever he wants it, come and get it, easy to find, hard to beat. That goes for Roman Reigns as well.”
Cody Rhodes is in his third reign as the Undisputed WWE Champion. He regained the title by defeating Drew McIntyre and successfully defended it against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42. His feud with Orton is far from over after The Viper ended Night 1 of WrestleMania by taking Rhodes out with the Punt Kick.
