ONE women’s atomweight kickboxing world champion Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom of Thailand has prepared for every version of Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.

“The Queen” challenges ONE women’s atomweight Muay Thai world champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues for the title at The Inner Circle 19 on Friday at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

Another victory stretches her undefeated run in the promotion and cements her legacy as a two-sport ONE world champion.

The matchup has been one of the most anticipated women’s bouts in ONE Championship history. It’s a genuine champion versus champion clash between two fighters who have cleared out their respective divisions.

Speaking to Muay Thai Around The World, Phetjeeja talked about the little things that will determine the outcome of this epic battle.

“Honestly, I think about this every day, but it’s hard to know exactly how the fight will go. We really see the actual fight once we are up on the canvas. While fighting, we will see the openings where we can launch weapons or where we need to wait and read the situation.”

    The challenger added:

“We have to adapt on the canvas … because we don’t know exactly what style she will bring. An opponent’s approach can change from fight to fight. My approach will also be different compared to my past few fights. Both of us will have to read each other on the canvas.”
