Serena Williams penned a heartwarming message for her ‘bro’ Lewis Hamilton after the F1 icon bagged his first victory for Ferrari with a staggering drive at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix. Hamilton won his maiden Grand Prix for Ferrari by surpassing Mercedes’ George Russell and defending world champion and McLaren driver Lando Norris.

Although the British racing driver initially struggled with the soft tyres in the opening lap, the three-stop strategy and a well-timed pit stop during a Virtual Safety Car helped him to have a solid race. The victory marked his first win in nearly two years. Hamilton celebrated his much-awaited triumph with an inspiring message on social media.

“REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE,” Hamilton wrote along with a picture of his victorious moment.

Serena Williams shared her admiration for her ‘bro’ by reposting the picture on her Instagram story and wrote:

“Never forget. I love you bro.”

    “Greatness 👏🙌👏”

Serena Williams will continue her comeback campaign at the 2026 Berlin Open, which will be held from June 15 to 21, at the Steffi Graf Stadium in the Grunewald district of Berlin, Germany. She will compete in the women’s doubles event alongside Czech player Karolína Muchova.

The legendary tennis player made her return to the professional circuit at the recently held HSBC Championships in Queen’s Club while partnering with Victoria Mboko. The pair dominated their first faceoff against third seeds Erin Routliffe and Nicole Melichar-Martinez with a 7-6(2), 6-2 lead. However, their run came to an end after Mboko suffered a collateral ligament injury in her left knee during her singles faceoff.

Williams and Muchova will take on Routliffe and her partner, Giuliana Olmos, during their first match on June 16, 2026.
