Former WWE star Karrion Kross shared a Triple H decision that really bothered him. The Herald of Doomsday exited the promotion last year following his loss to Sami Zayn at SummerSlam 2025.

Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show today, Karrion Kross revealed that he was not contacted by Triple H following his WWE exit. The former NXT Champion noted that it bothered him that he had never heard from The Game and suggested that he was not the only former star who hadn’t communicated with him.

“It did (when asked if it bothered him that he didn’t hear from Triple H). It did, but I just try to tell myself that there are things going on that are so strange that might not occur to you that perhaps he is no longer in a position to speak to the talent anymore once they exit. Because I am not an isolated situation,” said Karrion Kross.

Kross also suggested that there were people above The King of Kings making creative decisions, and he was tasked with making the best of it.

“He has his own patterns that I think were aligned with what the audience mostly wanted to see. And that is speaking as a person who used to work for him. And I knew when he could call of his shots, and I had an idea of when he couldn’t. And to me, this looks like a situation where he can’t call of his shots and I don’t mean that disrespectfully, at all,” he added.

Kross is currently the reigning MLW World Heavyweight Champion and has found success on the independent wrestling scene following his WWE departure.

Karrion Kross reveals he thought he was going to be a WWE lifer

Wrestling veteran Karrion Kross recently shared that he thought he would be spending the rest of his career in the promotion.

Speaking on the Off The Ropes podcast, the 40-year-old claimed he never planned to leave the company and wanted to finish his career there.

“I’ll be honest, I had no plan. I have said this for years. The story’s never changed. I always thought I was going to be a lifer with WWE,” he said.
