The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will lock horns with the Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match 70 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL). The clash will take place at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday, May 24.

Depending on the outcome of the Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals clash earlier in the day, KKR could be in playoff contention. The hosts will be without Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who sustained a finger fracture and concussion in the previous contest. Matheesha Pathirana has been ruled out of the tournament as well.

KKR’s squad for IPL 2026: Ajinkya Rahane (c), Manish Pandey, Sunil Narine, Rovman Powell, Cameron Green, Rachin Ravindra, Rinku Singh, Rahul Tripathi, Ramandeep Singh, Angkrish Raghuvanshi (wk), Anukul Roy, Tim Seifert (wk), Finn Allen (wk), Navdeep Saini, Umran Malik, Vaibhav Arora, Varun Chakaravarthy, Prashant Solanki, Kartik Tyagi, Matheesha Pathirana, Blessing Muzarabani, Sarthak Ranjan, Daksh Kamra, Tejasvi Singh (wk), Saurabh Dubey.

On that note, here is KKR’s predicted playing XI, plus some impact player options, for their IPL 2026 match against DC.

Finn Allen and Ajinkya Rahane have opened the batting for most of IPL 2026, and the same is expected to continue. Rahane’s form has been disappointing, and he will want to turn things around in the final league game of the season.

Middle Order: Manish Pandey, Tejasvi Dahiya (wk), Cameron Green, Rinku Singh, Rovman Powell

In Raghuvanshi’s absence, KKR should play Manish Pandey at No. 3, with Tejasvi Dahiya as the wicket-keeper. The rest of the middle order will wear a similar look, with Cameron Green, Rinku Singh and Rovman Powell. No unforced changes are expected in this department.

Lower Order: Anukul Roy, Sunil Narine, Kartik Tyagi, Varun Chakaravarthy

KKR have enjoyed having three spin options at the Eden Gardens. Sunil Narine has been stellar, while Varun Chakaravarthy is fighting through an injury. Anukul Roy has chipped in as well.

Meanwhile, Kartik Tyagi is expected to lead the pace attack.

Impact Player Options: Vaibhav Arora, Saurabh Dubey

Saurabh Dubey is the frontrunner to enter the fray as the impact player and take the new ball. Vaibhav Arora is another option, but the swing bowler has been awfully expensive throughout IPL 2026.
