AEW star MJF was featured on tonight’s Collision and made a huge statement ahead of a high-stakes match. He lost his AEW World Championship a few weeks ago to Darby Allin on Dynamite. After many weeks of asking for a rematch, the former TNT Champion claimed that the Devil get a rematch if he puts his hair on the line. Friedman took a few days to consider and eventually accepted the offer.
The Salt of the Earth and Relentless star later this week will likely headline the match in a ‘title vs championship’ contest. Tonight on Collision, Darby Allin defended his championship yet another time, this time against Mike Bailey. After a fierce battle, the AEW World Champion retained his championship. After the Dynamite main event, the broadcast transitioned to Collision, where Kevin Knight cut a promo in which he supported Allin to defeat Maxwell.
However, after JetSpeed returned backstage, MJF decided to attack Darby Allin. The Devil even tried to cut his hair, but he escaped. Following the brawl, AEW, as usual, uploaded a clip of the segment on their X handle. Unfortunately, in the description, All Elite Wrestling accidentally mentioned Maxwell as the AEW World Champion.
“Ever the opportunist, @The_MJF attacks AEW World Champion @The_MJF ahead of their match at #AEWDoN, THIS SUNDAY! Watch #AEWCollision LIVE on TBS & HBO Max,” All Elite Wrestling wrote.
Take a look at the now-deleted tweet here:
![A major botch by All Elite Wrestling [Image via X/@AEW]](https://staticg.sportskeeda.com/editor/2026/05/2560d-17793298728072-1920.jpg?w=190)
As expected, they deleted the tweet in minutes. Fans are now wondering where AEW accidentally spoiled the result of the main event of Double or Nothing. It will be interesting to see if the Devil manages to become a three-time AEW World Champion at the pay-per-view or loses his hair instead. Only time will tell!
