WWE‘s Premium Live Event schedule has now picked up with Saturday Night’s Main Event and Clash in Italy within the same week, and it seems that the pressure may have been getting to some of the stars.

As with every event, there is always room for several botches, and last night delivered as usual. The following list looks at just four of the biggest botches that happened at Saturday Night’s Main Event last night.

With no titles changing hands and several of the matches set up for rematches, it seems that last night’s event has been treated as a filler.

    #4. Green screen glitch

The women of WWE have always been handed a tough card, which was why the Women’s Evolution was seen as such a bold move for the industry, but last night, the Women’s Tag Team Championship match was handed a massive blow.

Before Nia Jax and Lash Legend had left the backstage area, the screen cut off, and much of their interview and entrance was missed. Instead, the WWE universe was treated to a green screen glitch for several minutes, whilst the sound remained, there was nothing but a green screen for fans watching around the world.

Luckily, WWE was able to fix the screen before the match started, but the fact that this was one of the most viral parts of Saturday Night’s Main Event, proves how annoyed fans were that the feed was cut for so long.

#3. Bron Breakker landed awkwardly at Saturday Night’s Main Event

Bron Breakker‘s interference in the main event came as a surprise since he is in the middle of a story with Seth Rollins. While The Street Profits have saved Rollins in the past, and the six men have come to blows, they have made it clear that they are not friends with The Architect, so Breakker’s interference made no sense.

That being said, he paid the price when he ran out to the ring and was thrown over the announce table. It seems that the landing was much worse than expected, and many fans have shared the video of his reaction to it.

Despite landing in the worst possible position from the bump, Breakker was able to insert himself into the match after and attacked both Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins to end the show. It seems that this story will move forward on RAW, since Seth Rollins didn’t even appear at Saturday Night’s Main Event and The Street Profits will have questions, since they have saved him numerous times but he wasn’t there to save them.

#2. Michin drops Rhea Ripley on her head at Saturday Night’s Main Event

Rhea Ripley teamed with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and while the three women were finally able to note that they had become friends, Ripley fell to Jade Cargill, who got the pin and set up their Clash in Italy rematch.

Midway through the match, many fans noted that Ripley was dumped on the back of her head after a Poisonrana from Michin. Michael Cole even noted that it was a rough landing that seemed to affect Ripley for a few seconds. Luckily, she was able to recover and continue the match, only to be pinned after what was a brutal Jaded from Cargill.

Ripley seemed to be the one to take much of the abuse throughout the match, and even though next week’s title match is one-on-one, it’s clear that B-Fab and Michin will be there to ensure that Cargill will win back her title.

#1. Sol Ruca’s Sol Snatcher was botched at Saturday Night’s Main Event

Sol Ruca has already botched her Sol Snatcher on Becky Lynch once after the two women faced off in a RAW segment a few weeks ago, but last night’s was a surprising one.

It seems that she once again slipped as she tried to climb the ropes, and instead of her Sol Snatcher, she came down and appeared to knee Jessika Carr in the face. Of course, it was never supposed to be perfect because she was thrown into Carr as she attempted to hit the move on Lynch, but the slip as she climbed the ropes proved that this was always going to end badly.

Sol’s finisher is such a hard move to prepare for, and a spot like that must have been hard to rehearse, plus, of course, if the ropes are slippery, then there’s always going to be an issue. Ruca did, however, pick up her first win since being promoted to the main roster, even though it was via DQ.

The most questionable part about this match is that WWE announced it as a title match and then a non-title match, but if it was going to end in a DQ and lead to a rematch at Clash in Italy then it could have just been a title match to begin with.
