Scientists have identified a massive new species of mosasaur, a marine reptile that lived alongside the dinosaurs and dominated prehistoric oceans. The newly described predator, named Tylosaurus rex (or T. rex), measured up to 43 feet long and ranks among the largest mosasaurs ever discovered. The research was led by scientists from the American Museum of Natural History, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, and Southern Methodist University. New Delhi: The Union government will invite applications from states for 50 industrial parks in the next four months under the newly launched Bhavya scheme, with the first 50 parks targeted to become operational within three years, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said on Saturday.The Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana, which received Union Cabinet approval on March 18, 2026, has a financial allocation of Rs 33,660 crore and aims to set up 100 industrial parks across the country in challenge mode, Goyal said.
