The statistics and programme implementation ministry has revised the release schedule for provisional gross domestic product (GDP) estimates and fourth-quarter GDP data to June 7 of each year, or the previous working day in case of a holiday, from the last working day of May. The change followed consultations with the Advisory Committee on National Accounts Statistics (ACNAS), as several datasets become available only after a delay of up to two months.
