Ominous eggs in Palworld 1.0 do not have guaranteed spawns. Instead, you must scour through the 29 known spawn points spread across the World Tree region to find one randomly.
Alternatively, if you need a specific egg, you can save before checking a spawn point and reload until the egg in question is ominous.

Once an ominous egg is collected, simply bring it back to your base to incubate and hatch it. Any Pal native to the World Tree region can hatch from it and will always carry one of the World Tree’s unique passive skills.
