Popular gamer and streamer TimTheTatman recently reacted to Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, which took place on August 25. After seeing the games featured during the presentation, his reaction suggested he was not particularly impressed by the reveals and felt the latest Call of Duty title looked better by comparison. He gave his verdict on the showcase, saying, “After watching all that, MW4 ain’t so bad.”
The relevant part of his stream was shared as a clip on X by user @jacobnewtron, where TimTheTatman said:
“Honestly, after watching all that, MW4 ain’t so bad. I mean, it’s not Rogue.”
Tim was not the only viewer who had mixed feelings about the event, with several users on X also sharing their reactions to the games shown during Gamescom Opening Night Live.
“It’s gonna be a rough year if you don’t care about GTA 6… only thing I saw that I liked was the Witcher III Remastered I’ll be on Ace Combat 8 and Witcher again if I’m not on DMZ probably…” X user @UnkWerks said
“The only good games during gamescom ONL was Gears of War Eday, Blood of the Dawnwalker, and Witcher 3, the rest was like meh…” X user @J0be77bluecheck remarked
“I honestly don’t blame him there were only a handpick of cool games, other than that this gamescom was extremely identical to like the recent others. No true appeal, but I will say that saying this doesn’t mean I’m right or wrong, only time will tell. With that said, f*** mw4” X user @buklehat wrote
TimTheTatman says SBMM is awful and should be removed from any video game
TimTheTatman has also shared his frustration with Skill-Based Matchmaking (SBMM) and later took to X to share his stance on the system, arguing that ranked and casual modes should have different matchmaking approaches. He posted:
“SBMM is awful and should be removed from ANY videogame its simple ranked = similar skill level players quick play = any skill level”
In other news, Dr DisRespect responded after TimTheTatman seemingly removed him as a friend on livestream.
