Iran called President Donald Trump’s claim that Washington controlled the Strait of Hormuz “lies and fabrications” on Thursday as Ebrahim Zolfaghari, the spokesperson for Iran’s central military command, said that the waterway was fully under Tehran’s control. A day earlier, Trump had posted on Truth Social that the US “has total control over the Strait of Hormuz. I THINK WE WILL KEEP IT!”
