Disappointing Dominik Mysterio update following another WWE RAW loss

There has been a disappointing update regarding Dominik Mysterio following this week’s edition of WWE RAW. Mysterio currently holds the AAA Mega Championship and is a member of The Judgment Day on the red brand.

As pointed out by “WrestlingWorldCC” on Instagram, Dominik Mysterio has been on a losing streak on WWE television as of late. The veteran has not won a match since the first round of the King of the Ring tournament on the June 5 edition of SmackDown.

After losing to Dragon Lee last night on RAW, Mysterio has now lost six televised matches in a row, including his Human Monies on a Pole match against Danhausen at SummerSlam.

Despite Mysterio struggling on WWE television, he is also the current AAA Mega Champion and is thriving in the promotion. Dirty Dom is in a storyline relationship with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, who is being targeted by Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer on RAW.

Morgan defeated Vaquer to become Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania 42. However, Vaquer went on hiatus following The Show of Shows due to injury before her return earlier this month on RAW.

Major WWE star breaks character to praise Dominik Mysterio

Wrestling veteran Finn Balor recently broke character to praise Dominik Mysterio. Balor used to be in The Judgment Day as well, but was kicked out of the faction earlier this year.

While being interviewed at a Zuffa Boxing event, the former champion complimented Mysterio and noted that it was annoying how cool he was. Balor added that he thought Mysterio was going to become an even bigger star moving forward.

“Let me say something. Dominik Mysterio is annoyingly cool. The kid- everything he does seems cool, and he does everything effortlessly. Obviously, we’ve had our ups and downs, but I got nothing but love for Mysterio, and I think he’s going to be a huge, even bigger star than he is currently. I think he’s still on the rise and I’m excited to see where he goes.” [H/T: Fightful]
