Megan Bayne has been one of the fastest-rising stars in All Elite Wrestling in the past few years. She has dominated the women’s division of the company as the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion. Recently, a former All Elite wrestler made a massive demand for Megasus’ booking in AEW.

The star is none other than Joey Janela. He was signed with All Elite Wrestling from 2019 to 2022. Following his exit from the Jacksonville-based promotion, Janela started dating Megan Bayne. The two stars have been in a relationship since 2024. Recently, Bayne appeared at the ringside for Janela’s match in GCW.

Following his showdown, Joey Janela showered words of admiration for Megan Bayne. She called Megasus one of the top five women’s wrestlers in the world. Janela went on to claim that Tony Khan should allow Bayne to wrestle male wrestlers on AEW TV. The 37-year-old star said that the AEW Women’s Tag Team Champion would beat all the male wrestlers in AEW if she got the chance.

“Top 5 women’s wrestler in the world. If Tony Khan had some balls, he’d let her wrestle guys on TV. And if that happened, she’d be known as the best f’n wrestler in the world,” said Janela.

Megan Bayne set to defend her AEW Women’s Tag Team Title at All In pay-per-view

Megan Bayne and her tag team partner Lena Kross are involved in a feud with Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter in AEW. This week on Grand Slam Mexico, Bayne and Kross teamed up with Mercedes Mone to take on Windsor, Hayter, and Willow Nightingale in a trios match. To everyone’s surprise, the babyfaces went on to beat Divine Dominion and The CEO in a banger showdown.

Following the match, The Brawling Birds became the No. 1 contender for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship. AEW did not waste any time announcing that Hayter and Windsor will challenge Bayne and Kross for the championships at All In pay-per-view in London later this month.

The Brawling Birds have managed to give a tough fight to Divine Dominion in their past encounters. Therefore, there is a good possibility that fans might witness a title change in their match at All In. But still, it will be interesting to see what Tony Khan has planned for the champions, Bayne and Kross, from here on.
