Apex Legends Season 30 update is now out, and it brings major changes to a few Legends. Most notably, Bloodhound, Loba, Rampart, Seer, Axle, and Valkyrie have been tweaked. Some are completely overhauled, while others received buffs or nerfs. Hence, this update will slightly change the meta.

Hence, here are some of the best Legends to pick after the Apex Legends Season 30 update.

Note: This article is subjective and solely reflects the writer’s opinion. There are many other great Legends worth playing even after the update.

5 best Legends to use after the Apex Legends Season 30 update

    1) Bloodhound

Bloodhound is one of the best Legends to play in Apex Legends Season 30 because it has been entirely reworked. The Legend’s Passive, Tactical, and Ultimate have been overhauled from the ground up, making it more desirable in both ranked and unranked matches.

Here are the changes made to Bloodhound:

    • Passive – It can now see a red trail near fresh enemy clues and activate white ravens remotely by looking at them.
    • Tactical – It can now do full-body scans for 3 seconds and then 4 “snapshot” scans with 1.5s intervals.
    • Ultimate – Brand new ability called “Allfather’s Cloak”. Bloodhound throws a device that cloaks any player that runs through it. The cloak remains active for 12 seconds but can break if the player fires a shot, takes a hit, or uses an ability. Bloodhound itself can use abilities without getting uncloaked.
    • Upgrades – Level 2 gets new Hidden Sight and Bird’s Eye. Level 3 gets new True Predator.

    2) Loba

Loba is also getting several buffs in Apex Legends Season 30. Her Tactical, Ultimate, and Upgrades are improved, making her a great Legend to pick after the update. Developers noted that because of looting changes in this update, Loba will automatically become more valuable, but they still decided to buff her abilities.

Here are the changes brought to Loba:

    • Tactical – Reduced time taken to equip and projectile range increased by 15%.
    • Ultimate – Cooldown reduced to 120s from 150s.
    • Upgrade – Level 3’s Brand New Bag now grants purple bags (since gold bags will no longer spawn).

Rampart also receives major buffs in Apex Legends Season 30. Developers noticed that despite giving her buffs in previous updates, she has not been a fan-favorite in most matches. Hence, the team at Respawn is improving the Legend even further, making her a great pick after the update.

Here are the changes made to Rampart:

    • Passive – She now gains locked hop-up progress 50% faster.
    • Tactical – Rampart’s wall health increased at lower EVO levels (was 400/600/800, now 600/700/800). Amped wall health increased by 25, and Wall deployment reduced by 0.5s.
    • Upgrades – Level 2’s Combat Reserve now grants stowed reloads in addition to its other benefits.

    4) Bangalore

Though Bangalore has not been updated in Apex Legends Season 30, she remains a great Legend that can be picked after the update. Ever since the game was released, she has been one of the best Legends to counter Bloodhound and his enemy-seeking abilities.

Though Bloodhound will be a tough opponent after the update, Bangalore’s smokes and Rolling Thunder will still do a decent amount of damage.

    5) Fuse

Fuse is a pure DPS character that will remain useful after the Apex Legends Season 30 update. Despite Loba and Rampart receiving buffs, Fuse’s Tactical Knuckle Clusters can affect them. The explosives can weaken Rampart’s walls and destroy Loba’s Black Market beacon from afar, giving a decent edge in the fight.

Additionally, the Legend can take advantage of some Corrupted Red Attachments even if they have negative perks, simply because of how much artillery he packs.
