Popular streamer Darren “IShowSpeed” has officially surpassed 60 million YouTube subscribers. Still, his milestone celebration took an unexpected turn when he appeared to injure himself during a dangerous stunt on a livestream.

Known for attempting over-the-top challenges, Speed skipped his usual backflips and high-energy stunts this time. Instead, he attempted to lift himself into the air using giant balloons. However, things did not go as planned.

In a clip shared on X by @SpeedyHQ, the balloons suddenly burst mid-air, causing the streamer to fall abruptly onto the objects placed beneath him.

Following the fall, the cameraman zoomed in on Darren, who appeared to be unconscious for a brief moment. Moments later, he got up, shouted “60 million!” and “Green Apples!”, before lying back down again with his eyes closed.

The clip quickly went viral, with many viewers expressing concern, while others questioned whether the stunt had been staged. Several users pointed out that no one immediately rushed to help the streamer after the fall.

“Bro its scripted there are pads under him he just missed them horribly.” X user @DDankku_ wrote

“L script no one ran over to save him the guy looked at him etc loool this nigga smiling holding his mouth in place.” Another X user @Affirmationmaxx commented

“How and why did they switch cameras so fast? And why didn’t anyone help him? Scripted bullshit.” X user @MaxAKingsley questioned

Others felt the celebration was unnecessarily dangerous.

“Crazy he doing this for 60m while Mr Beast sat on a chair and popped confetti for 500 million subs.” X user @TheEtihadLad remarked

“Broooo that was too risky. Congratulations! 60M is massive. Sha remember to sleep for at least 8hrs everyday.” Another X user @agbe_ere added

IShowSpeed shares an update after the 60 million subscriber celebration

Following concerns from fans, Darren later reassured viewers that he was doing okay. In a clip shared by @DramaAlert, the streamer was seen receiving medical attention while sitting inside a car. Providing an update on his condition, he said:

“Guys, I am okay. I’m getting a medic. I’m okay, alright? We’re okay. It was crazy. Thank y’all so much for 60 million, bro. Love y’all.”
