Aalyah Mysterio seemingly confirms WWE career move

There has been some breaking news regarding Aalyah Mysterio, the daughter of WWE legend Rey Mysterio. Aalyah Mysterio was featured on WWE television in the past as the love interest of Buddy Murphy in 2020, now known as Buddy Matthews in All Elite Wrestling.

As pointed out by WrestleTalk, Aalyah Mysterio appears to be heading to the WWE Performance Center/ NXT. Photos of Mysterio were shared on social media as she celebrated with a “Florida is about to get 619’d” cake. You can check out the images in the post below.

Rey Mysterio was inducted into the promotion’s Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 39 weekend. The legend was in action last night on RAW but suffered a loss to Ethan Page. Mysterio went for the 619 during the match, but Page blocked it with the ring apron before connecting with the EgoPlex for the pinfall victory.

The Hall of Famer’s son, Dominik Mysterio, interrupted Joe Hendry and Danhausen’s concert last night on RAW. Professional boxer Ryan Garcia also showed up during the segment and hit Joe Hendry with a guitar. Dominik Mysterio is scheduled to battle Danhausen in a “Human Monies on a Pole” match at SummerSlam 2026 this weekend.

WWE legend reveals Aalyah Mysterio asked for a picture with CM Punk

Wrestling icon Rey Mysterio disclosed that Aalyah Mysterio recently asked for a picture with CM Punk.

Punk infamously sang Happy Birthday to Aalyah while she was trapped in the ring with him in 2010. In an interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Rey shared that his daughter asked for a photo with Punk earlier this year.

“Believe it or not, she went to the show in San Diego for New Year’s, January 1st, and she knew that CM Punk was there and she asked, ‘Dad, can I take a picture with Punk’ and I said ‘let me tell him’ and he was very ecstatic that she wanted to take a picture with him and they took a picture together and they got along great so it was awesome,” he said.

It will be fascinating to see what the future holds for the 24-year-old in WWE.
