Rusev has had a rough last few months in WWE, as he has not been on the winning end of most of his matches. It seems like the string of losses has had a major impact on The Bulgarian Brute.
The 40-year-old returned to WWE over a year ago after an underwhelming run in AEW. While fans had high expectations from Rusev’s second stint with the company, he has not been involved in any notable feuds in the last few months and has mostly lost his matches. His last singles win on WWE Programming came in March, when he defeated on Main Event.
Thanks for the submission!
The Bulgarian Brute was in action on RAW last night, where he lost to Je’Von Evans. In footage making rounds on social media, the 40-year-old was seen leaving the ring immediately after the three-count, effectively no-selling Evans’ finisher, The OG Cutter. The former AEW TNT Champion took no time in walking to the back.

Rusev has also been busy with non-WWE ventures
Rusev recently opened his own training center, KECH Pro Wrestling, in Nashville, Tennessee, with Gangrel serving as the head coach. The wrestling veteran recently discussed their partnership, revealing how much effort the Bulgarian Brute has put into the project:
“He’ll tell you we’re partners. I’m not so sure what we are, but he’s definitely the guy to put all the money into it. He’s definitely the founder of it, but he said he wouldn’t start it unless I came in and ran it with him or would be the head trainer. So, here I am trying to make all that happen. He plans on doing a lot of time in and out, so we plan on rotating in and out. So if I’m here for two weeks, I’ll be here, and then when he rotates in, he’ll be here for two weeks that I’m not here, so it’s scheduled down through the summer to be two and two with each other. So with him (Rusev) asking me to come here, you know, I’m loyal to him too and wanting to do a good thing and build a good thing because he really truly loves wrestling. He is truly a wrestling fan, and he’s always watching it, and he’s always checking in, and I see when he comes here, he spent the first week here,” said Gangrel.
Fans have been advocating for Rusev to get a feud in WWE since his return. However, the 40-year-old has mostly been used to put over other talents. He briefly teamed up with Ethan Page on RAW, but it seems like the union between the two is over.
