The Bloodline is stronger than ever in WWE since Roman Reigns became the centerpiece of Monday Night RAW, capturing the World Heavyweight Championship by beating CM Punk clean at WrestleMania 42, Night Two.

The Original Tribal Chief, apart from remaining the World Heavyweight Champion, is focused on bringing his tribe together under his wing so everyone can grow and reestablish their dominance in the promotion. As a result, The Usos and Jacob Fatu have already joined the crew, and the OTC has given the Samoa Werewolf a personal task to bring back Solo Sikoa, who is currently feuding with them.

One of the most popular theories lately about The Bloodline is that the crew may welcome the late Umaga’s son, Zilla Fatu, who could debut in the promotion and directly get a spot in The Bloodline. Reports suggest that Zilla is ready to compete in World Wrestling Entertainment, as he was also seen at the Performance Center.

Many even feel that Zilla Fatu might make his WWE debut at SummerSlam 2026 and join The Bloodline, like during Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins’ title match or during the six-man tag team match between The Bloodline and LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys.

In this article, we will look at three reasons Zilla Fatu likely won’t debut in WWE at SummerSlam 2026.

    #3. The Shield final chapter

The foundation for Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns this year has been built around The Shield’s final chapter, where the Original Tribal Chief and The Visionary are all set to end their long-standing rivalry at the Biggest Party of the Summer.

One of the Easter eggs fans caught on camera came during the first encounter between Rollins and Reigns on the post-Night of Champions episode of RAW, where the OTC told Jacob Fatu to stay out of his business with Rollins. Which clearly means the Tribal Chief wants to beat Rollins on his own, and logically, if this is the final chapter in the Shield saga, it needs to end fairly, leaving no doubts behind or any possible cracks.

Hence, Zilla Fatu’s debut at SummerSlam makes no sense. Given his massive hype, WWE won’t waste it on a match where he doesn’t fit into the storyline.

    #2. Roman Reigns’s WWE Streak

For a long time, fans had noted that the hunger inside The Original Tribal Chief had reignited as he finished all his matches cleanly, debunking the image he earned in the later phase of his Undisputed Championship reign of taking help from his family to win.

Since WrestleMania 42, Tribal Chief has been on a streak, finishing high-profile matches on his own. First, he beat CM Punk at the Granddaddy of Them All, and then he defeated Jacob Fatu twice.

Currently, WWE won’t break his momentum, and clearly the OTC does not want an enforcer. Given Zilla Fatu’s character, he would be perfectly placed as a Bloodline enforcer, and at this point, the family doesn’t need one.

The Bloodline saga is going to be a long-term story, and WWE will have plenty of time to build it. The promotion may bring Zilla Fatu on at the right time, when Reigns starts to struggle a bit to win matches on his own. For now, Reigns is fresh and could assert dominance without needing outside interference.

#1. The Bloodline saga is at its peak in WWE

As of now, the Bloodline storyline is at its peak, and fans are interested in how things are unfolding, with Roman Reigns wanting Solo Sikoa back in the family and Jacob Fatu working toward it. Also, there is subtle tension brewing within the group between the Samoan Werewolf and The Usos, which may lead to a civil war.

Triple H and his WWE creative team keep some cards hidden for the moment when the product or a storyline starts to decline, and Zilla Fatu is indeed a trump card the company could pull once the Bloodline saga starts to pale in storytelling. Right now, it’s hot and doesn’t need another element to shine. Hence, the company may not introduce Zilla to WWE fans at SummerSlam.
