    WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Closing Segment Ft. Roman Reigns & Jalen Brunson [REPORT]

    WWE Saturday Night Main Event ended with a bang as Roman Reigns and Jalen Brunson came together to fend off Seth Rollins and Tyrese Haliburton. The closing segment was liked by some and not liked by some.

    Roman Reigns handed out a New York Knicks themed World Title to Jalen Brunson but Seth Rollins appeared out of nowhere and started to attack his former tag team partner. Reigns somehow managed to make his way up and knocked Rollins out of the ring before him and Brunson celebrated in the ring. He also got the chance to lift the NBA Title.

    Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer spoke out about the segment and said that it was embarrassing how the entire event played out. On an episode of the Bryan and Vinny Show, he said:

    “I can’t even explain how excited they were in WWE about the last 10 minutes of the show. It’s actually kind of embarrassing. They were so excited by that final segment. They’re all about getting on ESPN, the celebrities are here, AEW could never get celebrities like this. That is their thing. It’s the highlight of their world to be associated with this kind of thing.” [H/T WONF4W]

    Roman Reigns breaks silence after SNME

    Roman Reigns has broken his silence after his much talked about segment with Jalen Brunson at WWE Saturday Night Main Event. The Tribal Chief and the NBA Champion had a very memorable segment and the Madison Square Garden crowd was fully in on it.

    After the show ended, the World Champion took to social media and posted a profound message and told the rest of the world what he thought. Posting a picture of himself lifting the NBA Championship next to Brunson who was hoisting the World Championship, he wrote:

    “Greatness Acknowledged! ☝🏽@thegarden @jalenbrunson1.”

    It is clear to see just how excited Roman was to celebrate the Knicks winning the NBA Championship with the players and also the fans inside Madison Square Garden. It was definitely a moment to remember for the leader of the Bloodline.
