As a part of the Pokemon GO event Flying Taxi, the Parrot Pokemon Squawkabilly will be making its debut. What’s noteworthy about Squawkabilly is that it has four separate forms based on color. Naturally, like most Pokemon forms in this game, they have been region locked to different parts of the world. So players will have to either do a lot of travelling or trade for all four forms.
So in this article we will go over how to get Squawkabilly, which form can be found in which region, and whether or not they can be shiny.
How to catch Squawkabilly in Pokemon GO

During the Flying Taxi event, White Plumage Squawkabilly will spawn in the wild, though it will be rare. Both it and Yellow Plumage Squawkabilly will show up globally, so players around the world can get both of these forms. Additionally, the Yellow Plumage form may also show up in the form of a Field Research encounter.
Location of the different Squawkabilly forms
- Blue Plumage Squawkabilly: Western Hemisphere (Field Research)
- Green Plumage Squawkabilly: Eastern Hemisphere (Field Research)
- White Plumage Squawkabilly: Global (occasional wild encounters)
- Yellow Plumage Squawkabilly: Global (Field Research)
You will have to trade or travel to get all of these forms during this event.

Can Squawkabilly in Pokemon GO be shiny?

Unfortunately, the shiny forms of any Squawkabilly form is not available on debut. Interestingly, while shiny Pokemon rarely appeared on debut, that had seemed to change with Orthworm’s debut. However, it appears the multiple forms have led to the Squawkabilly shinies getting a delayed debut.
