Recent reports suggest that various third-party online retailers have started preparing for GTA 6 pre-orders by putting up webpages for the title. This was reported by a reputed reporter @videtech on X, a few days after Rockstar Games’ pre-order announcement for June 25, 2026.
Here are more details about a few online retailers allegedly preparing for the game’s pre-orders.

GTA 6 pre-orders listings could go live on third-party retailers soon
On June 22, 2026, reputed insider and reporter @videotech (Ben) posted on X that a German retailer (mediamarkt.de) and a UK retailer (very.co.uk) have created pages for GTA 6 before its pre-order date. This means that the websites may be preparing to list the physical copies, which could be delivered on November 19, 2026, when the game releases.
While the German retailer has either removed or hidden the page that was previously accessible, the UK retailer continues to hype the game’s arrival on their website by writing:
“Start your engines…Grand Theft Auto 6 coming soon.”
This clearly hints that many other online merchants must also be preparing to sell Rockstar Games‘ next title when the pre-orders go live this Thursday. Since these reports arrive from Ben, who has been a reputed source for several years now, it has some major weight.
On June 18, 2026, Rockstar Games announced that GTA 6 pre-orders will go live on June 25, 2026, through PlayStation and XBOX stores, and a few select digital retailers. PlayStation and XBOX stores already have official product pages for the game. Now, activity can also be seen on third-party vendors as they prepare for when the floodgates open on Thursday.
XBOX inching ahead of PlayStation in pre-order marketing

Similar to a few third-party merchants, XBOX has also started marketing GTA 6 pre-orders on its front webpage. The game will be arriving on XBOX Series X and S and will be purchasable from the XBOX Store website or app on the console itself.
While Microsoft’s gaming division has started marketing the game, the same cannot be said for PlayStation. There is no mention of pre-orders on the PlayStation Store’s front page.
