A popular WWE star seemingly confirmed an alliance with Seth Rollins following this week’s episode of RAW. The star in question competed in the main event of RAW earlier today at the O2 Arena in London, England.
The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) battled The Vision’s Austin Theory and Bron Breakker for the World Tag Team Championships in the main event of WWE RAW. Logan Paul attempted to interfere in the match by bringing brass knuckles to the ringside area, but Joe Hendry made his surprise return and chased The Maverick through the crowd.
Thanks for the submission!
Seth Rollins then showed up and decked Austin Theory with the brass knuckles. Bron Breakker then chased after Rollins and left his tag team partner alone in the ring. Montez Ford connected with a Frog Splash for the pinfall victory, and The Street Profits are the new World Tag Team Champions.
Ford took to Instagram following the victory and seemingly confirmed The Street Profits’ alliance with Rollins. You can check out the champion’s message in the Instagram post below.
Seth Rollins will be squaring off against Bron Breakker at WWE Night of Champions this weekend.
Seth Rollins discusses his issues with major WWE star
WWE RAW star Seth Rollins discussed his issues with CM Punk and suggested that it would be a difficult relationship to repair.
In an interview on Prince St. Pizza’s YouTube channel, the former World Heavyweight Champion discussed his issues with CM Punk. Rollins suggested that he still had issues with Punk and that it would be a tough relationship to repair.
“Well, there’s this guy. His name is CM Punk, a real a**hole this guy… I don’t like him. A lot of people love him. He and I don’t get along. We don’t see eye to eye. It has a long history there. I’m not a grudge holder, really. I wouldn’t consider myself. He’s an exception to the rule. [Is he a phony?] I would say so. He’s an interesting cat because if you love him, a lot of CM Punk fans out there, you believe and hang on every single word he says. But if you know the guy like I do, I see through all of it. He would probably say the same thing about me… I mean, there’s certainly some bad blood there. I think it would be a tough relationship to repair. I don’t know,” Rollins said.
It will be interesting to see how long The Street Profits can hang onto the World Tag Team Championships moving forward on WWE TV.
