Sol Ruca is the reigning WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. She was promoted to the main roster earlier this year and has steadily been making a name for herself. However, now she finds herself facing the ire of some wrestling fans.

On June 21, at a WWE Live Event at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Liv Morgan put her Women’s World Title on the line in a Fatal Four-Way match against Ruca, Lyra Valkyria and IYO SKY. At one point in the bout, the 26-year-old tried executing her Sol Snatcher finisher on Morgan, but botched the move, with the champion landing awkwardly.

Liv Morgan was seen holding her right knee in pain as she rolled out of the ring, sparking fears of an injury. Morgan was able to complete the match and retain her title, and also walked without needing assistance. Although she plays a heel character, the reigning Women’s World Champion has an ardent fanbase, who likely did not hold back on Sol Ruca.

Wrestling fans can sometimes be brutal, and that is likely what happened with the Women’s Intercontinental Champion. In an unfortunate update, Ruca has now turned her X/Twitter profile private, which wasn’t the case earlier.

You can check out a screenshot of her private account in the tweet below:

Meanwhile, Sol Ruca has had a great to her main roster career. She won her first title since her promotion to the big leagues by defeating 3-time Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch at Clash in Italy on May 31. She has also successfully defended her title on television against Lyra Valkyria.

Newly Crowned Champion Takes Shot at Sol Ruca

NXT Superstar Zaria defeated Tatum Paxley on the June 9 episode of the black and silver brand to become the new Women’s North American Champion.

In the aftermath of her victory, she took to X/Twitter to take a shot at her former best friend Sol Ruca. The two may be on different brands, but the 27-year-old Australian powerhouse let her know what she felt about the Women’s Intercontinental Champion with an emoji that spoke louder than words.

It remains to be seen if Ruca is truly done with her feud with Zaria, or whether the pair will encounter each other any time soon.
