Jorge Posada’s wife, Laura, recently sparked a social media frenzy by posting a carousel of pictures of herself in a white bikini during a dreamy getaway in Croatia. The 54-year-old received a flood of compliments for her beach look, among which a few fans pointed out how the Puerto Rican broadcaster has shed a lot of weight and looks incredibly “thin” compared to her previous athletic body.
Laura Posada was forced to defend herself and explained how health and wellness look different sometimes. She explained how internally she feels healthy, and that’s what counts.

“Laura with all the major respect you are beautiful natural and I understand because your health but in my eyes you are very thin but always beautiful God bless you always and respect to Jorge and you ✊🙏” – a fan commented
“Health and wellness do not look the same. At 54 feeling strong healthy and energetic. I keep working out, lifting weights, traveling, and enjoying life to the fullest. And that, to me, is what really matters.” – Laura Posada responded.
“What a lot of people don’t see is the hours of training, the habits and the discipline behind it. At 54 I feel strong, healthy and have more energy than ever. That’s what drives my decisions, not the opinions of others. ❤️” – she added.

Jorge Posada and Laura have been married for the last 26 years. Their paths first crossed in Puerto Rico during a softball game where Laura was pitching, and Jorge was the umpire. The two later reconnected when Jorge was playing for the New York Yankees.
When Jorge Posada revealed the mindset that helped him be at the top of his game
Jorge Posada once revealed in an exclusive interview the right mindset, developed at the right age, that made all the difference. While a lot of teenagers have backup goals if their MLB career doesn’t pan out, Posada was focused on only one true goal.
“I wanted to be a big league baseball player no matter what. I didn’t have a Plan B. Plan A was that I was going to be a big league player. – Former Yankees icon explained.
He admitted he wasn’t the best player in the Yankees, or in his school and college. But he was resilient enough to make it to the team and worked harder than everybody else to be where he is today.
