A popular star collapsed and was barely able to walk on WWE RAW. This week’s episode of RAW emanated from the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, and saw plenty of action.

The show was kicked off by a reunited Bloodline led by World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. He talked about the Samoan legacy in WWE before turning his attention to Jacob Fatu.

After addressing the man who challenged him for the World Title only a few weeks ago, he presented him a brown Ula Fala to formally welcome him into The Bloodline.

As they made their way out of the ring, actor and comedian Eric André, who was in attendance, shook hands with Jimmy Uso and OTC1. He then tapped Fatu on the shoulder and touched his Ula Fala, and let’s just say he shouldn’t have done that.

The Samoan Werewolf dragged him over the barricade and slammed him on the floor before taking him to the ring. Despite WWE officials pleading, the former US champion hit André with a top rope splash. After exiting the ring, Reigns directed Fatu to go again, and he had no hesitation in obliging.

He delivered another massive splash to the comedian leaving him lying in the ring. Now, the promotion has shared footage of the aftermath of the attack on X. In the video, André can be seen collapsing on the entrance ramp as he is surrounded by officials.

They try to help him get back on his feet, but the popular star struggles while trying to stay on his two feet and walk. You can watch the video below:

Reported reason why WWE had Jacob Fatu attack Eric André

Jacob Fatu’s vicious attack on Eric André came out of nowhere and took fans by surprise. But it appeared that the segment served little purpose other than showcasing the wild nature of Fatu.

However, a report from PWInsider offers more clarity. According to the report, one of the reasons why WWE had Jacob Fatu attack André was that he co-stars with John Cena in the new Netflix comedy Little Brother, and this was a promotional tie-in deal.

With RAW being on Netflix weekly, this move would have made sense to bring attention to the movie that will stream on June 26 on the platform.
