AEW has just begun a new partnership with a major promotion, and they will be featured more on their official platforms. The announcement has been made on social media.
Apart from top companies like NJPW, CMLL, and Stardom, with whom the Jacksonville-based promotion has been business partners for several events, they also have good relationships with promotions on the independent circuit. Several talents on the roster have been booked for their shows, and there is no limit to where they can show up, barring any internal issues.
Tony Khan launched myAEW a few months ago, which is the official streaming platform for fans around the world. This platform also features ROH content, and with a certain subscription, fans have access to all their events. But it seems that Khan has major plans for the platform, as he also wishes to feature other top promotions. Limitless Wrestling has announced that they are now on myAEW.
Tony Khan and AEW has been featuring its partners heavily lately
All Elite Wrestling has been busy as of late, as it is Forbidden Door season. This is the annual event where top stars from their direct partners will be featured in one of their pay-per-views. This started as a crossover event, with some of the top talent from NJPW taking on those from the Tony Khan-led promotion.
Now the matches are not limited to inter-promotional warfare, but nonetheless, talent from promotions around the world may make appearances at the event. Apart from Forbidden Door, ROH is holding its Global Wars event, and talent from both Stardom and CMLL are reportedly set to make appearances at the show.
There are still more than two weeks till Forbidden Door, but fans can expect some surprise appearances from top names from NJPW, CMLL, or Stardom in the coming weeks. This could lead to some blockbuster matches being booked for the event.
The Jacksonville-based promotion has been on a great run to start 2026, and could continue their hot streak with another successful event this month.
