New Delhi: India‘s tallest building is expected to come up in the proposed Global City project in Gurugram, said two people aware of the Haryana government’s plans.

The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development (HSIIDC), which will auction land for the Global City project covering 1,000 acres, has identified a 6.7 acre plot where a 620-700 metre mixed-use building is being planned, the people said.

The state government had in the last two to three years held extensive consultations with property developers from NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai for the ambitious project near the Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram.
