Khloé Kardashian discussed infidelity with her ex, Tristan Thompson, on her latest podcast. In the May 28 episode of Khloé in Wonder Land, the reality star was joined by the former NBA player, with whom she shares two children, a daughter, True, and a son, Tatum. The two discussed co-parenting and their current bond following their split.
According to PEOPLE, the athlete was allegedly involved in several cheating scandals while he was in a relationship with the ‘Good American’ founder. The two reportedly parted ways after news surfaced that Thompson also fathered a child with his personal trainer, Maralee Nichols. As per ELLE, he later publicly admitted it and apologized to Khloé Kardashian in an Instagram Story.
However, despite the separation, the two have maintained a friendly relationship through co-parenting. On the Thursday podcast, the reality star stressed that people can “forgive” and “coexist.” Tristan Thompson also appreciated his ex for being a great mother.
Further in the conversation, Khloé Kardashian referred to the alleged cheating fallout and asked Thompson whether he had ever thought about what he would tell their children when they eventually learn what happened between them. The NBA star shared his plan and said:
“I’ve definitely thought about that… I think it just depends on which age we have this conversation, when I have this conversation with the kids, but I think it’s just more leading by just being accountable and depends on the age bracket of wherever they were at, then dive into it however I see fit, but I think the most important thing is that you know accountability, how much I, you know, love Mommy, and go from there.”

Earlier in the discussion, Khloé Kardashian asked Thompson when a man says he is “not proud” of what he has done, does he realize it while he is “doing it” or only come to that realization later? Thompson replied, “Later, not in the moment.” Kardashian confronted him, asking, “So then why do you keep redoing it?” Tristan Thompson called it a “trillion-dollar question” and said he could speak for himself.
“I think just life was moving very quickly for me at the time when we were together. I probably didn’t do the best job of navigating my truth about like where I was at. And maybe just honestly, probably just a little case of just like being young and wanting your cake and eat it too… Like it’s just a lot going on in life at the time for me. Uh, so not proud of it, of course not,” Thompson said.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Khloé Kardashian asked if her former partner wanted more kids, to which he replied, “I think I signed off for two embryos.” Tristan Thompson added that he didn’t want any more baby moms. The ‘Good American’ founder called it a “smart” decision. She shared that she was the one who helped him “fix that decision.” Tristan Thompson agreed that he underwent a vasectomy after Khloé gave an “ultimatum.”
“Sometimes you got to lay them nuts on the table… Sometimes you have to make the right exact, you know, sometimes we had a conversation. Sometimes you have to get forced into the right decision,” Thompson said.
On his former partner’s podcast, Tristan Thompson also confirmed his retirement from the NBA after a 14-year career.
