The identified assets span nine states-Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Maharashtra.
The ministry of road transport and highways, the nodal body for highway development in the country, including projects executed by NHAI, has set a target to raise ₹30,000-35,000 crore through monetisation in current financial year. Monetisation receipts for the road ministry stood at ₹29,000 crore in 2025-26.
“These highway assets collectively represent economic and logistics corridors with established traffic potential and robust connectivity significance,” it said.
