    NFL fans react as NFL Live wins 2026 Emmy for Outstanding Sports Studio Show

    “NFL Live” just beat “First Things First” at the Sports Emmys. And Nick Wright’s fans are reacting.

    The 47th Annual Sports Emmy Awards took place Tuesday night in New York City. “NFL Live,” ESPN’s flagship daily football talk show, won Outstanding Sports Studio Show — Daily for the second straight year. It was ESPN’s 10th win in the category.

    Meanwhile, the FS1 debate show, hosted by Wright, alongside Chris Broussard and Kevin Wildes, had earned its first nomination in the Daily category this year. Wright had called the snub in previous years a source of frustration for him.

    “Nicks gonna be so mad Mina an Pablo are cooking him right now!” one fan tweeted, referring to “NFL Live’s” Mina Kimes and Pablo Torre.

    “First Things First absolutely robbed of the Sports Emmy. Hands down the best sports show on TV. Do people actually watch NFL Live?” another fan wrote.

    “Even tho Peter and Mina are great Ryan Clark should be an instant disqualification. FTF was robbed,” one fan commented, taking a shot at “NFL Live” analyst Ryan Clark.

    “First things first better,” one fan commented.

    “FTF robbed,” one fan tweeted.

    “First Things First snubbed smh,” another fan wrote.

    In total, ESPN walked away with 10 Sports Emmy Awards on the night, pushing its all-time total to 277 across 39 years of eligibility.

    “First Things First” has doubled its viewership since moving to afternoons in September 2022.

    “NFL Live” wasn’t the only show ESPN celebrated on Tuesday. “College GameDay,” the network’s weekly college football show, claimed Outstanding Sports Studio Show — Weekly for the third consecutive year. This was its 11th win in that category.

    “E60’s Save: The Katie Meyer Story” took home Outstanding Sports Journalism. Katie George, one of ESPN’s rising on-air talents, won Outstanding Sports Personality — Emerging On-Air Talent.
