Roman Reigns broke his silence following this week’s episode of WWE RAW to send a personal message. The veteran will be competing in a marquee match at Clash in Italy this Sunday.
The Tribal Combat match between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu at Clash in Italy was made official during the final segment of last night’s RAW. If Fatu fails to capture the World Heavyweight Championship from The Head of the Table at the PLE this weekend, he will have to acknowledge Reigns as his Tribal Chief.
Thanks for the submission!
Reigns celebrated his 41st birthday last night and shared a heartfelt moment with fans following RAW. He took to Instagram today to thank fans in a personal message, and you can check it out in the post below.
“Thank You For All The Birthday Wishes!” wrote Reigns.
The OTC defeated CM Punk in the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 last month to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Jacob Fatu challenged Reigns for the title at Backlash 2026 but came up short.
WWE legend suggests Roman Reigns should have lost at WrestleMania
Wrestling veteran Jim Cornette recently suggested that CM Punk should have defeated Roman Reigns last month at WWE WrestleMania 42 to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
Speaking on Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru podcast, the legend claimed that Punk would have been a better option to help get a younger star over while he was champion.
“Punk, especially in this build, the World Heavyweight title was more important to WrestleMania than the WWE title. He made it valid. I think, if anything, he should have been the one to put it on a younger guy. I don’t know if it’s Oba Femi this quick or whatever, if it’s the right dynamic anyway to have that match. It could have been a Bron Breaker. Even if Roman does a job for somebody, I’m not saying he wouldn’t try, I think Punk would be more motivated and more knowledgeable about how to have a match to get a young guy over than Roman Reigns would be right at this very moment.”
It will be interesting to see if Reigns can retain the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Clash in Italy.
