CHSE Odisha class 12 result declared: The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha (CHSE) has announced the result for the class 12 examination. Students can access the results from the official website- chseodisha.nic.in and at the SAMS College e-space at 3 pm. Among the streams, science recorded the highest pass rate at 87%, followed by arts at 84%, and commerce at 88.26%. As per the data shared by the Council, a total of 2.56 lakh students were enrolled in arts, 1.14 lakh in science, 24,621 in commerce, and 5,932 in vocational studies this year.

In the Odisha Class 12 board examinations, the science stream recorded an overall pass percentage of 88.82 per cent this year. Out of 1,14,363 students enrolled, 1,13,826 appeared for the examination and 1,01,104 cleared it. Among those who passed, 94,887 were regular candidates, while 6,217 were ex-regular candidates. Of the 56,710 girls who appeared for the examination, 51,176 passed, taking the girls’ pass percentage to 90.24 per cent. Meanwhile, 49,928 boys cleared the examination out of 57,116 candidates who appeared, recording a pass percentage of 87.41 per cent. In terms of divisions, 67,450 students got first division, 21,717 passed in second division, and 10,043 were placed in third division. As many as 1,894 candidates passed in the compartmental category. A total of 5,101 students scored 90 per cent and above in the examination. Among districts, Balasore recorded the highest pass percentage at 96.63 per cent, while Koraput registered the lowest pass percentage at 77.14 per cent.
According to the official data, a total of 2,54,119 students appeared for the Arts examination, out of which 2,14,738 cleared the exam. Among them, 2,02,679 were regular candidates, 11,154 ex-regular students, and 905 belonged to the correspondence category. In terms of divisions, 53,141 students secured first division, 49,797 obtained second division, and 1,11,308 passed in third division. A total of 614 students scored 90% and above. Sambalpur emerged as the best-performing district in the Arts stream with a pass percentage of 89.48%, while Nabarangpur recorded the lowest at 77.14%.
The Commerce stream of the Odisha Class 12 board examinations recorded an overall pass percentage of 88.26 per cent this year, with a total of 21,353 students clearing the exam. Among them, 20,453 were regular candidates, while 892 ex-regular candidates and eight correspondence students also passed. Girls once again outperformed boys in the stream. Out of 8,997 girls who appeared for the examination, 8,163 passed, taking the girls’ pass percentage to 90.73 per cent. Meanwhile, 13,190 boys cleared the examination out of 15,192 candidates who appeared, registering a pass percentage of 86.82 per cent. In terms of division-wise performance, 7,207 students secured first division, 4,402 passed in second division, and 9,641 students were placed in the third division.
The Class 12 theory examination of the CHSE Odisha was held between February 18 and March 28, at 1,364 centres, while practical examinations took place from January 2 to January 15.
Last year, the CHSE Odisha Class 12 results were declared on May 21, while in 2024, the council announced the results on May 26.
