To put that into perspective, she passed Courtney Vandersloot’s previous record of 10 games in just a fraction of the time. Clark only took 57 career games to reach a milestone that took others hundreds of matchups to build.
Caitlin Clark and Claire Kittle are Iowa Hawkeyes alumni. Claire played for the Iowa women’s basketball team from 2012 to 2016.
On March 25, 2024, George and Claire Kittle traveled back to their alma mater to watch Iowa defeat West Virginia in the second round.
It was Caitlin Clark’s final career home game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena before declaring for the WNBA draft.
George and Claire met up with Clark postgame to celebrate. They also snapped photos together.
George Kittle shared a hilarious story about wife Claire’s fear of spiders
George Kittle hopped onto X to detail his early-morning heroics on May 13.
He explained that around 4:00 AM, while he was in a “deep slumber,” Claire woke him up in a panic after discovering a massive spider, which George described as “the size of a half-dollar” lurking in their bathroom.
The funniest detail of the story is the weapon of choice. Claire handed him the rehab slant board he has been using to recover his ankle and George used it to squash the intruder.
The 49ers star narrated the final moments and it was hilarious.
“Claire handed me the slant board I’ve been using for rehab, and I immediately knew the spider had no chance,” he wrote. “It took but 1 attempt to strike down my opponent. I received hugs and kisses for my bravery and fell back asleep with confidence. Have a day gentlemen.”
George Kittle and Claire Kittle have been married for seven years.
They eloped and tied the knot on April 10, 2019, at an intimate ceremony in Iowa City. Later, they held a second, larger celebration in Nashville in April 2021.
They first met at the University of Iowa back in 2012.
