Jacob Fatu has been on a rampage since Backlash. He lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match to Roman Reigns after the OTC exposed the turnbuckle and hit a spear for the finish. What happened after the contest was worse. The Samoan Werewolf attacked Reigns, assaulted the referee, put his hands on GM Adam Pearce, and left holding the title.
On WWE RAW after Backlash, Fatu didn’t hold back, and a chaotic brawl occurred during a scheduled “acknowledgment ceremony,” where Fatu was invited to acknowledge the OTC. The former US Champion went after Jey Uso first, headbutting him in Gorilla Position before Jey even made it to the entrance. He then punched Jimmy Uso off the ramp and into the barricade.
Thanks for the submission!
Fatu then got to Roman Reigns. He locked the OTC in the Tongan D*ath Grip and powerbombed the champion directly through the announce table. Fatu stood tall over The Usos and Reigns, holding the World Heavyweight Championship to close the show.
Following the events of Monday Night RAW, The Yeet Master took to his Instagram and shared three stories. He vowed to destroy Jacob Fatu. In one of the stories, he uploaded a photo of himself after the attack. Then, in another, he wrote:
Real Reason why Jacob Fatu lost at Backlash – Check Here!
“Imma beat yo a** before the Chief do.”
He followed that with another story:
“I was jus trynna help yo scary a**.”
Jey made it clear he was not trying to fight Fatu for Roman’s benefit; he positioned himself as the one stepping in because Fatu needed to be handled, and nobody else was moving fast enough.
The line “before the Chief do” signals that Jey sees himself as the immediate threat, not a backup plan. It also sets up a collision that does not require Reigns to be at its center. Jey vs. Fatu, driven by personal disrespect, could be the next feud.
Michael Cole claimed on WWE RAW that Jacob Fatu may get fired
During the brawl on this week’s WWE RAW, Jacob Fatu again laid his hands on General Manager Adam Pearce.
The GM wanted to fire Fatu for his post-match assault on management and officials at Backlash. However, Roman Reigns stopped him, saying that Fatu must first acknowledge him as Tribal Chief.
Things didn’t go as planned, and Michael Cole said on WWE RAW that The Samoan Werewolf might be out of a job.
“Another assault on all these officials. After tonight, Corey [Graves], Jacob Fatu may be out of a job.”
It will be interesting to see what’s next in this feud and whether Fatu will face Roman Reigns again.
